  • What are different types of Liposuction?

    Solution

Depending upon mechanisms used to dissolve fat underneath skin, it may be SAL (Suction Assisted Liposuction), PAL (Power Assisted Liposuction), UAL (Ultrasonic Assisted Liposuction). Only difference among all these types is mechanism to dissolve fat and basic procedure remains same. An ultimate result depends on expertise of a cosmetic surgeon more than type of liposuction commence.

  • Can you do liposuction from multiple body areas of my body?

    Solution

Yes, multiple body areas can be operated in a single stage, provided, total aspirated volume doesn’t harm your body – in which case, we stage the procedure.

Moreover, other cosmetic procedures also can be combined with liposuction. You should discuss this with our surgeon.

  • Does liposuction improves looseness of skin?

    Solution

Liposuction induces some firmness to the skin overlying operated body areas. But large amount of skin excess / looseness can’t be corrected only with liposuction and we prefer to remove that skin by tightening procedure.

  • Are the results of liposuction permanent?

    Solution

Liposuction removes fat cells from particular body areas, which doesn’t grow back. After surgery, even if you gain weight, enlargement will remain symmetric throughout body and does not cause excess enlargement of a particular body area maintaining your natural body curves (Fat deposition is symmetric instead of asymmetric before surgery). Of course, with aging process, some laxity appears in all areas of body as in treated areas.

  • Is it a painful procedure?

    Solution

Liposuction is performed under anaesthesia and is essentially pain less. To prevent post surgery pain, we will prescribe pain medicines to you. There may be mild muscle soreness which you will feel for a week or so.
